Very hard to find a specialist in the management of migraines. I have been to a number of neurologist over the years and this is by far the best migraine treatment I have received with great results. The whole staff is wonderful.

Dr. Mazeura was very professional and quick. He also responded very quickly to my portal message and got me the appropriate medication prescription that was urgently needed.

The registration staff and medically assistants were very disrespectful and unprofessional during this visit. I was met with resistance, eye rolling and unprofessional behavior as a whole. I had to ask to speak to the floor/staff manager. Only because of the care I receive from Dr. Mazuera will I continue to visit this office. I've been a patient here for over 5 yrs and never encountered this type of disrespect.

I have to point out that last year I was delighted with Dr. Mazuera, but very unhappy with how I was treated by staff. I called after my appointment last year with a concern and an administrative person was asking me about my medical history in a rude and intrusive manner when I asked to leave a message with my doctor. This year was completely different. Everyone was kind, efficient, and professional. It definitely restores my faith in this practice. Dr. Mazuera is terrific, and deserves a support team as caring and professional as he is. Thank you for hiring and retaining great people.

Dr. Mazuera is the best

I waited nearly an hour for my appointment. I arrived at the office at 2:15pm for a 2:30pm appointment, as instructed by the reminder text. For the 12 years I have received Botox, I have always been told that on Botox days, they take patients in the order in which they arrive, not necessarily by appointment time. After I saw two patients get called back for their Botox appointment who arrived after me, I asked the receptionist how much longer of a wait I had. When I saw the doctor, I said something about how long I had waited. He informed me that patients who had appointments between 1-2pm had just arrived. As a patient who arrived early for their appointment, I should have been seen at my appointment time. If I arrived late for an appointment, I would expect to have to wait until the doctor had an opening. I was extremely frustrated by this experience - I was in the office for over an hour for a five minute appointment. I did not feel as though my time was values or was I valued as a patient. Additionally, due to the wait and the doctor seeing patients who arrived after me, I missed the free parking allotment. As a result, I had to pay for parking when if I had been seen on time, I would have not had that expense.

Yes, I have had a great rapport with Dr. Mazuera. He's always asked all my questions. I'm dealing with headaches for over a year now and he seems to be understanding of that impatient and giving me a different idea. Ideas to consider. I'm definitely happy to have them as my neurologist and I've had three of them and being the fourth and never felt more welcomed and understanding.

Dr Mazuera is truly a wonderful provider - we feel lucky to have home overseeing care for our family. He consistently goes above and beyond.

No contest!!! You have the worst billing department. Do you hire your accountants straight out of the 3rd grade? it took your office months to find an error they made in your favor and still refused to accept it as 1 example of your brilliant billing department. Good luck!! ha ha

I was having a difficult time due to sister with alzheimers and they were very compassionate and kind.

Dr. Mazuera did an excellent job performing the nerve block, but I only had approximately 2 minutes to talk with him after he performed the nerve block. He may have been running behind because he gave me my post procedure instructions too fast. Although, I understood the instructions I would have appreciated having a few more minutes to ask questions.

Dr Mazuera, his medical student Amy and everyone in the practice was professional and courteous. I was listened to and did not feel rushed. Dr. Mazuera explained what was happening to me with my migraine symptoms. He reassured me throughout the appointment that all was within the "normal" range. He said his office would always find time for me if any unusual symptoms would arise .

The staff member who admitted me was cheerful, courteous and patient with an elderly woman who didn't notice where the sign-in clipboard was located, which was at a distance from the desk where patients are usually admited. When I exited from my appointment from the doctor, I went to a desk marked "check out". I went and sat at a chair there and waited. Another employee saw me there and frowned at me and gruffly asked what I was doing there. "I am checking out", I answered. She pointed and told me to go down a ways to a large desk (which is seen when entering the area and going down a corridor to where you check in). The woman at the desk was, like the one who frowned at me, discourteous. It's sad when that happens. The woman who admitted me more than made up for that.

My provider always has a smile on his face. He is the BEST with botox injections and I have a phobia of needles. I no longer have anxiety with my injections. By the time I left the office, my mood was even better! The office staff are very professional and polite. This center has changed for the better. Keep up the good work!

Dr. Mazuera is a very thorough and helpful doctor. I could not ask for a better neurologist. After having poor experiences with two neurologists prior, he has been an absolute godsend.

When I talked to someone regarding making my first time appointment, I was told to go to 2401 W. Belvedere Ave. Went there and was told that was incorrect. We were then told to drive to 5150 Greenspring Ave. Also, I did not receive the forms to fill out in the mail. I had to fill them out at the building where my appointment was. I felt rushed filling it out.

Dr Mazuera is the most considerate, empathetic caring doctor. Fabulous provider!

About the only things I could wish for is that they didn't have to get a prior authorization for the new med he wants me to try and that you had a closer office to me (45-60 min) drive otherwise wonderful team of Dr. Mazuera and Natalie.

Booking was frustrating because my provider sent my referral documents, I waited over a week to get a call, then when I didn't I called and found out they couldn't accept my referral with the documents that were given even though they were the standard. There was a lot of run around and extra effort on my end and I wish it was handled more efficiently.

Dr Mazuera is very approachable, receptive, and clear in explanations.

Dr. Mazuera was great, very helpful. And The video telehealth technology worked fine. My only complaint is the registration process- to get through the schedulers to set up an initial appointment. It took multiple attempts & phone calls in three weeks of delay for the scheduler(s) to acknowledge receipt of a fax from my previous provider. The schedulers always say, "I'll call you back." I had to keep calling back like four-five times because ... they never ever will call you back.

Dr Mazuera was very thorough and took his time to explain his plan of treatment for me- he put my mind at ease with his exam and follow up tests ordered and I look forward to a good long term patient relationship.

MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT IT'S DIFFICULT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM AND THE OTHER PHYSCIAN WHO GIVE ME MY TREATMENTS AND THIS IS NOT AT ALL A REFLECTION ON THEM. UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO REQUIRE THEIR SVS.
