Dr. Castelbuono is the best and I highly recommend him. He is exceptionally skilled, kind and compassionate and spends the time needed for any questions never making me feel rushed. I have complete trust in his diagnosis and treatment plan for me. His assistants are always helpful and pleasant as well, as is the office staff.

Prior to leaving , I reminded the staff member to make sure that my primary inusrance is medicare, and the secondary insurance is united healthcare and its paid at 80% /20% . Upon reviewing my document for my next apointment , it indicates United healthcare as Primary, and No secondary insurance.

Appt. was late getting started. Asked to be there 15 early and was kept waiting for nearly an hour before first interaction. Arrived at 1:15, but didn't see Dr. Castelbuono until nearly 3:30. I don't appreciate having my time wasted. Appt. much too long. Waiting area chairs stiff and uncomfortable.

In general it is hard to have an in-depth conversation with this provider. Pt volume was less at this visit and he was not leaving the room when questions were asked. Was helpful and complete in answering my questions. Have seen him for 15 years or so and not sure he knows who I am.

Yes, I had my doctor visit but I was seen by by the pre-op, but my doctor had called in and informed his staff that he was caught in a traffic jam so I could stay or I could reschedule so they did all my tests but I didn't wait around for the doctor because he was caught in traffic jam

This appointment went very well. I was given his latest appointment available in the morning. They brought me back for the optical tests within 10 minutes. This by far was the shortest time I have ever had to wait with this provider. I have been seen at this practice since the 90s.

Colleen at the front desk who checked me in and out was the best. I had a positive experience with all the providers.

My information on my sheet that she gave me for an appointment, my doctor's name is wrong. My cell phone number is not there. They duplicated the regular phone. The doctor's name has got old history on there, not my new doctor's name. She's been, my old doctor's been gone for 10 years. But anyway, not only that, the phone numbers are wrong. The, what is it, the phone number, doctor's name? I think the address may be wrong too. Provider is wrong. My doctor is wrong. Please make these corrections.

The staff was efficient. However, it takes forever for the doctor to see you and when he does see you, it's only five to ten minutes.

My wait time for service was better than it has been in the past.

I thought I was treated well, as I always have been. Dr. Castelbuono is a very competent physician. This time I felt that he just rushed me through and just was, I mean, his exam of me, not his staff, but his exam, was very rushed and hurried and he was finished with me in one or two minutes. It was very quick and I felt that he just rushed and that's not my usual experience in his office. I don't know whether it was just the hour of the day since it was a later appointment or whether they were just a backup of patients. It will not deter me from seeing him in the future, however. Everyone was excellent, but I felt as though when I saw the doctor, he answered every question and was thorough but I felt as though something was wrong. I just looked at it as if maybe the day was very hectic already at 9 am.

Appointment never starts on time. Wait time between seeing the assistant doing the testing and the actual doctor is crazy long. It's crazy that the wait is so long to see the actual doctor.

Noticed lots of turnover of staff technicians I did not recognize any of them.

Dr. Castelbuono is very knowledgeable and competent. However, he did not come across to me as aggressive in treating my eye condition, letting me know that he covered all of the angles on it in the exam, and his current thoughts on all the angles. I left not feeling like he dug into my condition, but was cursory about it.

The service that's provided is really good. I've never had such a thorough, you get a thorough examination, which I think is really great. But it just seems to be, there's a lack in a little, I guess it's personality. I've called several times about my condition and someone has called me back and suggested different things that I do. But because I'm a diabetic, it just seems to me that it'd be a little bit more concern. Let me come and let me check your eyes. Let me see what's going on. Because as a diabetic, different things can be going on. So I just think it needs to be a little bit more personable. That's what's missing. I had a specialist for years, but they retired. And so now it just seems like, you know, we're just pushing through numbers. Things just need to be a little bit more personable a little more concerned with what people are going through.

If it was know that there was a staff shortage and the wait would be over an hour, I should have been notified so I could reschedule. It was an hour and 20 minutes before I saw the technician. She was very nice and apologetic!

I use a Rolator and tire easily. There was back and forth to the test machines. I think they could be arranged closer together so as not to tire the patient while testing.

TRYING TO GET A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT IS HARD TO GET

Everyone was professional, kind & respectful. Areas for improvement: The appt took longer than anticipated - 2.5 hours total with waits in between. I need 2 appointments though they "could (cannot) not be scheduled since we're getting a new system. Will be 6 weeks. Someone will contact you." One of the appts is for a 2 month follow up- I hope that it doesn't take much additional time after 6 weeks to obtain that appt. The other appt for a retina specialist was to occur prior to the follow up. I'm not sure why these appts cannot even be scheduled in the interim. Thank you!

The Dr. Did the exam very quickly

The tech did not exam my eyes for new glasses even after I told her my reading glasses were not working well for me to read small print and I needed stronger lenses.

The technician and provider was running late and the office/desk out of courtesy could have apologized or made it known for the wait instead of me asking about the lateness 30 minutes past the appointment time.

This was probably one of the best visits ever. There was enough staff to handle everyone. The visit started on time and even with the testing that needed to be done I was out within an hour.

I am a physician myself and did a lot of research before seeing Dr Castelbuono. I found him to be a very skilled and caring doctor. My only complaint is that the scheduling staff is not responsive and donot communicate well, it's also very difficult to schedule an appointment as most calls go to voicemail and no one calls back

We NEVER get seen close to apportionment time. It is always 30-60 mins before the appointment starts. In this occasion, I we waited over an hour to see Dr Castelbuono. Found out that he wasn't even in the building until an hour after my appointment time! Ridiculous and abusive of us, the patient.

This is my second appointment that I've had that I ended up being the last person seen. People came in after me and were seen before me. That's my complaint.

All is fine, I asked for a refill but not sure it has been called into the pharmacy

This is the second time I have had my eyes dilated at this office when they did not need to be dilated for the next person seeing me. I think the doctor does not remember me as a person from one visit to the next. Very much a see 'em and move them out experience.
