She returned to Baltimore to complete her Residency in Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, serving as Pediatric Chief Resident from 2024 – 2025.
Dr. Vrettakos’ philosophy on patient care includes staying up-to-date on evidence-based medicine and incorporating that into shared decision making with each patient and family she sees in her practice.

Dr. Vrettakos is the best! My son is so comfortable with her. She takes her time to talk to him about what's going on, making sure he doesn't have questions and he understands what's happening. The best doctor he's had since he was a baby!

Dr. Vrettakos was exceptionally professional and compassionate. She took the time to thoroughly explain our son's growth progress and the preventive steps we should consider. After his blood work, she followed up with a detailed breakdown of the results, clearly explaining each indicator in plain, understandable language. Her thoughtful approach and clear communication made us feel truly supported throughout the process.

We had to have a different provider since our was booked full Our provider was absolutely a wonderful very long time with both of my children for their well visit check ups that I felt 100% confident in their decisions.! Was blown away by how much she knew about my children ready their charts before we even came in ! Would definitely recommend the office !
