Elliot Schwarzenberger, MD

Dr. Elliot Schwarzenberger joins our team from Queens, New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He obtained his M.D. degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. He followed with a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Downstate Medical Center at Long Island College Hospital. His professional memberships include: American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Schwarzenberger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His interests include all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology. Of particular interest is hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer prevention. In addition, much of his training was devoted to management of diarrhea and constipation. His research on complications of liver disease has been published in a peer-review journal.
