Dr. Qurashi is Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She is Medical Director of the Sinai Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She practices trauma surgery, general surgery, and surgical critical care at Sinai Hospital and general surgery at Northwest Hospital. In addition, she coordinates quality improvement initiatives and works closely with Sinai's Department of Quality in her capacity as Sinai's ACS NSQIP (American College of Surgeons - National Surgical Quality Improvement Program) Surgeon Champion. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the George Washington University School of Medicine through Sinai's educational collaboration with GWU SOM.

    Both doctors were attentive to my needs and explained the next steps that I need to take. She also followed up the next day regarding seeing the Infectious Disease doctor sooner. Very impressed with the overall derive I was provided.

    The doctor was very helpful. He aexplained in detail what you wanted to know He had an encouraging smile as he greeted you, which made easier for you to talk and ask him questions. The whole staff was just as friendly .
