Dr. Young is one of the best doctors I have. Dr. Young is one of the best doctors I have. His bedside manner is the same as the bedside manner you expect from a doctor. You don't get that much from new doctors these days. And also, he takes his time and explains what needs to be told to you in a manner that you can understand it without going over my head. And he makes you feel comfortable in his office while he's talking to you, going through whatever you need to do to stay healthy and going forward. He's very patient and kind. And those are the type of doctors you need these days in a world that we're in right now. So I appreciate doctors like Dr. Young, and may there be many more.

I had the opportunity to see Dr. Young while I was in the hospital for pneumonia. I was pleased with how he explained everything and how he made being in the hospital feel a little less stressful. When scheduling a follow up visit, I immediately thought of him.

Wow, where to start. My lung mass was found while having a test for a potential stroke, so it was a surprise. The Bronchostomy necessary isn't done in my area, so I was referred to Dr. Young. I was offered a next day appt, which I couldn't make. They scheduled me for a non clinic day- he went in just to see me. (WOW) His office staff were very welcoming, and helpful, at every turn. On day of visit, their friendliness helped to ease my anxiety. (WOW) When Dr. Young came into exam room, he began with small talk, which also helped my anxiety. He then went thru a rundown of why I was there, from my ER visit, subsequent hospital stay (Carroll Hospital), Pulmonary doctor visit, tests taken with their results. I have NEVER had a new doctor visit where the doctor was informed as well as Dr. Young was. My comfort level dramatically increased. (WOW) I left with the Bronchostomy tentively scheduled for 9 days later. Two months ago, my world changed. I'm 61 years old, and I thought I was relatively healthy. I had no symptoms for lung cancer, so the diagnoses has thrown me into this unknown sphere. Leaving Dr. Young's office, I was not only comfortable, I was confident. I don't know what I'm facing yet, but my leaving there, feeling seen as a person, not just another patient has made all of this a little easier. I could not be more pleased about my experience.

Hello. I went in to Dr. Howard. This is my first visit with him. I also had some paperwork that I need to fill out for my employer. I noticed that on my paperwork, Dr. Howard did not include the times that I was in the hospital, this is most recently, nor did he include the doctors that I attend to. that I have access to, namely my primary care, the cardiologist, as well as the endocrinologist. All of them are located at Lightbridge, and all of that information was accessible in Lightbridge system. None of that information was included on the form. So in addition to that, Dr. Howard brought in an intern, and that intern also was with him.

Dr. Young gave some helpful suggestions, and he called my surgeon to be sure that they were on the same page for my upcoming surgery.

Dr. Young was exceptional. He understood everything that he said, basically. He explained it to the utmost. We had no problems with him at all. Loved his dance that manner. And just enjoyed seeing him that day.

Because of rotations, I met another member of the team at the hospital, however during my intake, the new doctor was well aware of my issues given the history I filled out on the new patient paperwork.
