Jaime Simon, DO

Dr. Simon (Barnes) received her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. She then completed her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she was also the chief fellow. Dr. Simon has been in practice almost 20 years. Her interests include mechanical ventilation and weaning, ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome), shock, resuscitation, patient and family communication, quality and process improvement, and program development. Dr. Simon is an experienced clinician, educator and leader. She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. She spent many years as the Chief of Critical Care for LifeBridge Health and is the Chair of the Department of Medicine.
