Dr. Jared Nowell is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon joining the LifeBridge Health Carroll Health Group in Westminster, where he will also serve as Team Physician for McDaniel College Athletics.
Dr. Nowell’s path began at Williams College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry while competing as a four-year member of the track and field team. Dr. Nowell earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by orthopedic surgery residency training at Georgetown University. He completed fellowship training in sports medicine at The Ohio State University. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers and supported The Ohio State University athletic programs.
Dr. Nowell is passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality care to patients at every level, from high school to college to recreational adult athletes. He strives to help each patient achieve their individual goals, whether that means returning to competition or simply getting back to an active lifestyle.
