This was my first visit with Dr. Lynette Brown. She and Shae, her medical assistant, treated me with kindness and with great professionalism. The office atmosphere was wonderful - clean, inviting and calm. I mixed up my calendar and arrived 12 minutes late. The receptionist informed me that I was beyond my grace period to be seen but that she would check to see if I could still be seen. It all worked out thankfully! I'm rebuilding my medical team due to retirement of my previous long-term PCP, Dr. Lefkowitz, and she fits the bill! I was impressed with the thoroughness of the team and the time taken to acquaint herself with my history and my current goals. I believe I've made a great choice and I'm looking forward to working with her and her team.

This was my very first appointment with Dr. Brown and I was very impressed with the amount of medical history. She was able to retrieve on her own through a database that I think is universal through providers. In other words, my medical records failed to show up in time for my appointment when I requested it over a month ago. In spite of that, Dr. Brown was able to retrieve a lot of information about my medical records on her own and I am grateful she was very thorough and explaining things to me and she listened to me and I know she heard me.

I think the system of care is declining in society and professions today that patients are dismissed and less emphasis is on care and more, so on technology, the system and salaries. I think the result stems from the system being overwhelmed with so many people in need of care. The experience is no longer personable. And it causes patience to feel like a number rather than a person.

I truly appreciate Dr. Brown and her staff. As a new patient, they all made me feel comfortable and welcomed.

Experience was great from Lynette to shea and lab

I was very reluctant to have this appointment. I was seeing Dr. Brown to establish my health concerns. I was previously seen by a medical professional at Chase Brexton who was very abrasive and a little condescending and I was hoping and praying to not have that experience with Dr. Brown. I didn't. She was kind, courteous, and explained things to me without making me feel like I am an idiot. Everyone in the office was actually quite kind and very patient. I was told before my appointment that I needed some information from my insurance to be seen that day and so I was on the phone as I was being called to the back. The person that took my height/weight/blood pressure (I'm unsure of her title), helped me with the person on the phone. Eventually, the receptionist let me know that everything with my insurance was fine and I didn't need any additional information. She explained and apologized. This doesn't happen in all doctor offices. I'm so happy I chose this office. It was my first visit and I look forward to having Dr. Brown as my primary care physician. It's very hard to find good care nowadays. Please don't change. The only very, very, very, minor issue I had was the availability of appointments. I work 8-5 and prefer afternoon appointments. Dr. Brown having limited availability just shows me other people see how awesome she is.

This was different from physicals I've received in the past. You have to request for services you feel need to be done and ask for referrals . I guess covid has caused many changes.

The care was above my expectations, from what I used to experience, in other words it was the best.

The facility is always clean and everyone is always happy and ready to assist you and provide meaningful assistance and information.

The experience was disorganized. I was called to come in to do a physical but wasn't done correctly . I should have gotten blood work done but instead a urine sample was taken and the phlebotomist already left. I was asked to come in at 2:20 and my regular scheduled appointment was at 3:40. I was not seen until a little after 4:00.

Dr. LYNNETTE BROWN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE ME HELPFUL ADVICE ON LOWERING MY A1C AND SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO LOWER MY CHOLESTEROL, AND TO EXERCISE AND TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AND EAT LOTS OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL.

I've been coming to Potomac Physicians for over 30 years and only worked with kind, knowledgeable people. Their service is still consistent.

Don't have the patient waiting a long time to see the provider. And the provider need to give them the medication they used to take from their old provider.

I tried calling to speak to someone prior to my appt and no one answered the telephone. I was on hold from my home until I walked into the front desk with the receptionist and was still waiting for a response ?.

I have no complaints!

The waiting room was empty. I was the only person there and I still had to wait. So I don't know what was going on in the back, but I was on time for my appointment.

Dr Brown listened, was compassionate & provided a detailed easy to understand explanation for treatment. She acknowledged that there were several issues & gave a plan of action. She also answered my questions & provided recommendations.

There were no paper towels in the bathroom to dry my hands when I washed them. Also I had to bring my urine sample out to the waiting area using toilet seat liners which was not discrete and in my opinion unsanitary. I mentioned the paper towels needed and the persons response was "ok I'll let my manager know" although I didn't see nor feel a sense of urgency.

When she looked at my rash she first said it could be herpes and nothing about the rash gave that diagnosis. So I thought that was very extreme especially and I'm not sexually active
