Mark Olszyk, MD

Dr. Olszyk earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He serves as liaison between the medical staff, clinical leadership and administrative teams. Dr. Olszyk comes to Carroll Hospital with 20 years of experience in the health care industry. He previously served as the Senior Medical Officer at the Veterans Health Administration' Office of Quality, Safety and Value. Prior to that, he served as the deputy chief of staff for the VA Maryland Health Care System, and he had also served as chief of emergency medicine at North Chicago Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Before joining the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Olszyk served in the U.S. Navy and had deployed overseas with the 4th Marine Regiment.
