I am the patient's husband, speaking on her behalf. My wife fainted recently, at 8 AM in the morning. A live attendant in Dr Engelhardt's office answered my call and made an appointment for 1 PM. Dr Engelhardt quickly obtained access to my wife's pacemaker output data that was recorded just before she fainted. With that data, he was able to diagnose why my wife fainted and recommend a change in medications that should greatly reduce the risk of fainting in the future. Dr Engelhardt explained the justification for his diagnosis, and he explained why the change in medications is appropriate. His explanations were easily understandable. My wife and I were back home by 2 PM the same day, very thankful for the quick resolution. An earlier good experience with Dr Engelhardt should be mentioned. When my wife had a stroke, we needed someone who could manage all her medications and keep the prescriptions renewed as required. Dr Engelhardt took responsibility, and the prescriptions have been up to date ever since. It is clear to us that Dr Engelhardt takes a personal interest in the wellbeing of all his patients. We feel grateful and honored to be part of Dr Engelhardt's extended family. We are confident that we are getting the best of care.

You need to answer the phones. Stop with the phone games. People have hard times getting in touch. We don't want to talk to 50 million people. We want to go directly to the office and someone answer the phone. I'm not the only one who says this. That's the only thing I see wrong. It's this little game with the phones where you most likely would have to just show up rather than even call.

It would be great if each appointment were 5 minutes longer - it would help patients to not feel such a rush to discuss various issues. It would also give a short time for the doctor to "catch his breath" before seeing the next patient. I know this wouldn't be popular with insurance companies & it could reduce the number of patients seen during a normal day.

Had to wait about 3 weeks for an appointment, but I guess that's just a reflection of the practice's popularity.

Extremely professional

First medical professional in a long while who addressed the basic reasons for my visit. One of my problems may be anxiety, so I was hooked up with a monitor to address its occurrence. However, the feeling I have of being cared so well for has diminished the symptoms so much that we may never discover its previous cause. So, I'm wondering if the problem went away before or because it got cured.

Dr Engelhardt was very courteous and clear about my husbands visit.

Its always a pleasure to meet with Dr. Engelhardt because he's easy to talk to about my health and very knowledgeable any issues I may be experiencing.

The provider needs to call me by my surname, not my given name. So I'm old enough to be his father, so I don't appreciate that. And we've talked about that before.

The front desk lady needs more costumer service training. 1) For a while I was waiting the costumer service was explaining to a senior about the instructions of a test. The senior asked question at the end and the answer from the lady in customer service was I already explain you. The senior said I will then figure out and left dissaponted. 2) After seen the cardiologist I went to this same lady and I made the test appointments and when she gave the appointments and the order for test. She said, read it and see what you need to do. I ask her let me read then. She said do at home. I was the last and nobody was waiting. Looks like she was in a rush. She should have some minutes for my question. The doctor Engelhardth is the best cardiologist I ever had.

Having trouble with blood pressure monitor

Dr. Matin Engelhardt is a wonderful cardiologist. He is always professional but very friendly and engaging. Even in this era of assembly factory office visits he spends time with his patients and does not rush. I feel like I have established not only a great patient-physician relationship but one of friendship. Whenever anyone asked me if I know of a good cardiologist I absolutely name Dr. Engelhardt! Dr. Engelhardt was kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. He seems very interested in the well being of his patients. He explained things well and I felt I could trust him with my care.

I absolutely love Dr. Martin Engelhardt and his staff. Dr. Engelhardt keeps in touch with my primary care physician and makes sure she gets the information for my routine visits with her. He's attentive to the things that I'm concerned about and he monitors me in a way that I have a full appreciation for him. I feel fortunate to have him as my care provider.

The nurse or aide wasn't very friendly. She didn't explain what she was about to do just lay down put your legs up and shirt up. Didn't say she was going to take an EKG. I tried to chat a bit "nice day" kind and she didn't even acknowledge me. She asked me to get on the scale and I asked if I should take my boots off and I don't think she even answered me. So out of interactions of 3 people - 2 were 10 and 1 was 0 so that's the I have that question a 6.

The office receptionist and personnel are very, very sweet. Dr. Engelhardt, he always greets you. He talks to you about any problem that you have and I really like going there and I wouldn't change my doctor unless I absolutely had to, which would be him leaving or something of that sort. But I am very, very pleased with my appointments and his care of Dr. Engelhardt. Thank you.
