Extremely professional

First medical professional in a long while who addressed the basic reasons for my visit. One of my problems may be anxiety, so I was hooked up with a monitor to address its occurrence. However, the feeling I have of being cared so well for has diminished the symptoms so much that we may never discover its previous cause. So, I'm wondering if the problem went away before or because it got cured.

Dr Engelhardt was very courteous and clear about my husbands visit.

Its always a pleasure to meet with Dr. Engelhardt because he's easy to talk to about my health and very knowledgeable any issues I may be experiencing.

The provider needs to call me by my surname, not my given name. So I'm old enough to be his father, so I don't appreciate that. And we've talked about that before.

In and out in a timely manner and no problems which is what you want to hear

The front desk lady needs more costumer service training. 1) For a while I was waiting the costumer service was explaining to a senior about the instructions of a test. The senior asked question at the end and the answer from the lady in customer service was I already explain you. The senior said I will then figure out and left dissaponted. 2) After seen the cardiologist I went to this same lady and I made the test appointments and when she gave the appointments and the order for test. She said, read it and see what you need to do. I ask her let me read then. She said do at home. I was the last and nobody was waiting. Looks like she was in a rush. She should have some minutes for my question. The doctor Engelhardth is the best cardiologist I ever had.

Having trouble with blood pressure monitor

Dr. Matin Engelhardt is a wonderful cardiologist. He is always professional but very friendly and engaging. Even in this era of assembly factory office visits he spends time with his patients and does not rush. I feel like I have established not only a great patient-physician relationship but one of friendship. Whenever anyone asked me if I know of a good cardiologist I absolutely name Dr. Engelhardt! Five thumbs up

Dr. Engelhardt was kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. He seems very interested in the well being of his patients. He explained things well and I felt I could trust him with my care.

I absolutely love Dr. Martin Engelhardt and his staff. Dr. Engelhardt keeps in touch with my primary care physician and makes sure she gets the information for my routine visits with her. He's attentive to the things that I'm concerned about and he monitors me in a way that I have a full appreciation for him. I feel fortunate to have him as my care provider.

The nurse or aide wasn't very friendly. She didn't explain what she was about to do just lay down put your legs up and shirt up. Didn't say she was going to take an EKG. I tried to chat a bit "nice day" kind and she didn't even acknowledge me. She asked me to get on the scale and I asked if I should take my boots off and I don't think she even answered me. So out of interactions of 3 people - 2 were 10 and 1 was 0 so that's the I have that question a 6.

The office receptionist and personnel are very, very sweet. Dr. Engelhardt, he always greets you. He talks to you about any problem that you have and I really like going there and I wouldn't change my doctor unless I absolutely had to, which would be him leaving or something of that sort. But I am very, very pleased with my appointments and his care of Dr. Engelhardt. Thank you.

In general, and is the case with all my physicians, is that they would prefer to spend more time with the patient (maybe that's not everyone's perception, but it's mine)

He is a great Dr. Get to the point, but also is funny, and does not rush you.

Please don't alllow fragrances in medical offices. The waiting room smelled like bed bath and beyond and I had to wait in the hallway to stave off a headache from the artificial fragrance. Many people who have chemical sensitivities wouldn't be able to be in this office. I don't have chemical sensitivities but I could not be in the waiting room without feeling ill.

I have been very pleased with my visits with Dr Englehardt, he seems to be very knowledgeable in the cardio field of medicine, and I have told him that I think he probably saved my life by nagging for me to make appts with him, and finding my aneurysm with tests he prescribed. I probably wouldn't be here today otherwise. I do like the smaller office location in Ellicott City, wish there was a location closer to Delaware, where we live now, no good cardio docs in DE. it seems. I do wish the office staff at Ellicott City was more outgoing, they seem pretty reserved and quiet to themselves, but do get the job done, just could be brighter and cheerier.

The office, staff and Dr Engelhardt always helpful. If not, I wouldn't be a patient.

great experience whit everyone

The whole experience was very good but when I went home & looked at my printout with my next annual visit, it had someone else's name on it. So I called, worried I didn't have an appointment, but the person on printout had my appointment. I called, and had to wait on hold about 8 minutes, listening to bad adds for the practice. Would have preferred just music! Also secretaries need to be careful - if I hadn't looked at sheet, next Oct I would not have had an appointment.

Dr Engelhardt is an exceptional doctor who explains medicine and medical terms in language a non medical person can understand. He is an EXCEPTIONAL doctor with a comforting non alarming manner.

Dr. Englehardt needs to understand the importance of speaking with his patients about test results. I understand the concern with regards patients wanting to interpret test results on their own. But to withhold that information, or to rely on office staff who are not qualified to report results, is unacceptable.

Dr. Engelhardt is a great doctor and his staff goes out of there way to treat you respect. It's important to know that your doctor really cares.

Dr. Engelhardt is a wonderful doctor. I trust him completely. I never feel rushed when I'm in the office with him. He's usually on time. He's very wise and I trust his judgment. He shows me the pictures on the wall and explains very clearly what he wants to do. He talks to me about the medicine or about procedures I might need. And again, I trust him implicitly. I like the way he's friendly and very kind. and treats me with respect. The girls in the office are great. They're also very kind and very efficient in giving me the setup for the tests that I need and very friendly as well. I enjoy going and I would recommend Dr. Engelhardt and his staff to anyone very, very highly.

Efficient and good information.

The appointment was scheduled for 8:00am. Staff did not open the door until 8, so the check-in and actual visit with the Doctor did not start until after the scheduled time.

Dr. Engelhardt is an awesome cardiologist. He's extremely knowledgeable about what I need to do. I would refer him to anybody that needed a cardiologist....

I noticed one of the office staff distracted by her cell phone. The phone was sitting on her desk directly in front of her keyboard, and she seemed to be more interested in reading/swiping her phone than her work. Makes one wonder about the quality of her work, and what exactly she is being paid to do. I suggest the staff be required to focus on work and that cell phones be kept in a different location.

Dr. Engelhardt is always very kind and takes the time to listen to my concerns. He has a wonderful bed sid manner and i recommend him to everyone!

I provided all of my health insurance information as requested several days before my appointment online. I was asked foe the information again and copies made when I checked in. Why bother with uploading online?

Dr. Engelhardt gave me confidence in knowing what was, or actually was not, going on with my heart and blood pressure. He told me what I needed to watch for in case my blood pressure comes down and my medication is too strong.

Dr Engelhardt is fantastic . He is very personable and friendly and has a great bedside manner. He's always very positive and makes you feel comfortable as a patient. I wish I could say the same thing about the receptionist. On more than one occasion I have felt she was rather rude and curt with me. This happened again yesterday at my appointment. I had an appointment at 12:45 and was asked to come in at 12:30 15 minutes ahead. So I arrived promptly at 12:30. When I went up to the receptionist and told her I was here for my appointment she said, "I am on my lunch break" . I told her that I'd filled out all the information and she said, "I will talk to you when I'm off of my lunch break" . I understand the need for a lunch break and I greatly appreciate that. But this person is not very friendly and I hate to complain about any medical staff but this is happened to me twice. If she was simply present herself in a more and pleasant manner it would be very helpful. I worked in the public health field for 30 years and know that the reception one receives when walking into service facility leaves an initial and lasting impression of what the patient thinks of the facility. I always look forward to visiting with Dr Engelhardt but I do not look forward to meeting the receptionist.

The doctor was very professional and polite. He made me feel like he genuinely cared about my well-being. He answered my questions and explained information in an understandable manner. He ordered tests to help diagnose my problem and will meet with me to discuss my results.

Dr. Martin is funny and very empathetic. My cat scan score is pretty high and he put me at ease as it concerns my present medical condition.

The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Engelhardt is very caring and compassionate.

The front desk receptionist could have been more welcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day. Dr Engelhardt is wonderful.
