For the first time ever, each person I encountered in this office was extremely friendly. As someone with anxiety, it was a nice change to deal with friendly staff, and it made me feel very comfortable. The person who greeted me when I walked in was especially friendly. I can't remember her name, but she was a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Contois was, as always, amazing! She makes me feel very comfortable when I see her, and she had a wonderful bedside manner.

My appointment was at 1:00 PM and I was sent an email reminder to arrive 15 min early. I arrived a little before 12:45 pm. The receptionist sitting at the front desk with the window closed said the staff was on lunch break until 1:00 pm. (No sign posted stating such & no sign in sheet.). At ~1:00 pm my ID & insurance cards were taken (tech glitch prevented card scanning for at least > 5min) and I completed a short questionnaire at the desk despite pre-registering online. It was closer to 1:20 pm when I was called back for vitals and history review with support staff. My appointment with the doctor went well. My visit concluded ~2:00 pm. ALL this to say, why have a 1:00 pm appointment when it's really a 1:20 pm appointment? No staff was available to check me in to be seen by the doctor at 1:00 pm, despite my arrival BEFORE the requested time of 12:45 pm. Either poor scheduling OR poor office management. Also, I am of the opinion that it is not professional for staff to complain within earshot of patients. If the office is CLOSED from 12:00 pm - 1:-00 pm for lunch, then post a sign and DO NOT have any staff sitting at the front desk eating their lunch. AND DO NOT request patients to arrive prior to 1:00 pm.

It started on time and my visit was not long.

Long wait for the exam while I was undressed. Needed to put on my coat over hospital gown. I believe the provider said that a problem with the computer delayed the exam.
