Melissa Zeliznik, FNP

Melissa Zeliznik is probably the best provider I've ever had the experience to be treated by! She remembers my history and I feel safe to discuss my depression or intimate medical problems, etc., with her. The only problem I've ever had is getting in to see her in a timely manner. I knew something was off and did not think about my medications having to be readjusted after losing 18 pounds as a result, I was sleeping constantly and had no energy. From the time I called until I could be seen in the office, it was six weeks. I don't know why it took that long perhaps vacations for being taken. However, I would prefer to be seen earlier than six weeks if I have a problem. In the past, I've had to go to urgent care when I knew I had a sinus infection. I want a family Doctor Who is able to see me when I'm sick. This is at the point of having a primary care physician? I want someone who knows me, knows my medical history, and can see me when I'm sick.

Melissa always helps me with questions, conditions, and education very much benefiting my interest to stay healthy and success in longevity. Very much a pleasure working with her.

There seems to be a problem keeping providers working in this location. Something is driving them & the staff away. There is constant turnover & we never see the same support personnel from time to time. Clearly something needs to be addressed to keep them happy & working

Although I like Melissa, I would like an MD who has admitting privileges to a hospital in case I need hospitalization at some point. Melissa is knowledgable, but not to the depth if a good MD. She told Me you are recruiting a new MD that I could get on the waitlist for, but I'd prefer to investigate the new hire myself before becoming a patient...

This was my first experience with Melissa. She took the time to go through my medical history, asked questions and explained things. I was both impressed and comfortable with the medical care provided.

I would say that Melissa Zeliznik is one of the best providers that I have had. I have recommended her to several members of my family, who now go to her. I know that she answers emails and schedules telemed appointments on her own time. I also know that she has a young family. She has never complained about this at all, but I did ask her about it since her portal responses are so timely. It would be great if there were some help for her (and other providers) in this practice. She is one of your shining stars at Carroll Health (Lifebridge).

No need really. We're quite happy with the folks in the Mt. Airy office--all of them--and have in fact recommended them to others. They have consistently remained on top of things and have always kept up informed. They attempt no "fishing expeditions", require no frivolous testing and have proven more than willing to discuss matters in a clear, rational fashion. Would that our federal government could go back to functioning this well!

Dr. Melissa was excellent with my care. She explained everything thoroughly, gave me different options for treatment, also gave me different strategies to use for making my health care better, and giving me some suggestions for perimenopause and my hot flashes. Just overall, very nice, very respectful, and just very thorough in my healthcare.

I give your workers in this office an A due to the fact they absorbed the patients from the Frederick office that was closed. The office staff did a good job getting me prescription refills even when they didn't have enough Doctors. You gave them a monumental job and they got the job done. My thanks to staff and Dr Melissa for taking on extra work! Plus even with the extra work load all were very amicable to this patient.

I couldn't have been treated any better or in a more timely manner than I was by Ms. Zeliznik. When I called on a Friday morning at ~8:10 am to inquire as to whether or not Ms. Zeliznik could see me regarding an unexpected health issue, I did not receive a message until ~4:50 pm that day. The message stated that Ms. Zeliznik would be out of the office for a week and that I should go to urgent care or the ER. I was very disappointed how my request was handled. It took them all day only to tell me she wasn't in the office? Furthermore, no effort was made to accommodate my request by another Lifebridge provider.

Amazing doctor and appreciated her care and concern - great job . I have to comment on the lab tech who took my blood sample , she was very good at taking the sample but lacks major personality and treatment of the patient. Seemed unhappy, like I was bothering her before and during my time with her.

Melissa was amazing. Covered things from the past that were never mentioned to me. She was very detailed and informative. Honestly the best internal I have ever encountered.

From the reception area to my visit with my CRNP the appointment/visit was handled with kindness and consideration with professional attention to my medical needs. Thank you to all!

No matter when or what I need she is quick to respond via portal, and appointments as necessary. The on line check in didn't work very well. It never has. So when I get there I have to answer a lot of questions I already answered on line. It seems like a big waste of time.

the front desk is terrible. 3 receptionists and 4-5 people standing in line. all receptionist typing on their computers or on phone. shouldn't at least one be for appointment patients only? Other than that, I love Melissa. She is always on time, treats me respectfully and explains things fully. Also, she's a nice person.

Dr. Zeliznik spent a considerable amount of time listening to me as I explained my recent medical issues. Absolutely hate the call center. I love the Mount Airy office and everyone that works there. I do not like the call center that life bridge health has implemented. It has decreased the quality of care. I never had any issues before the call center was implemented. It's impossible to get timely appointments, sick appointments, and it takes at least 20-30 minutes every time I call the call center to schedule an appointment. Please go back to individual offices answering the phone. Other patients I have talked to also do not like the new call center and are leaving Carroll Health Group because of it.

The only thing - we are not happy about is the new phone system- lifebridge is using. It's very concerning that when you need to get ahold of your doctors office- you can't get connected directly. The online portal is not the best way to connect to your doctor. Patients don't like to leave a message with a call center.

The phone service to make the appointment dropped my call several times and I could hear other conversations going on in the background. I much prefer the old system.

You answering service stinks, they have no clue ad how to schedule a sick patient, no one should wait 2 weeks out if they need to see a Dr. Also when asked to speak to someone at the Front Desk, they should not ask you questions and for what reason , just put them through. I for one do jot like this answering service.

Everyone works together to provide quality care and it shows through their kindness and how smooth appointments are. No long waits...and Individual attention you can count on with your Dr. :)

Bad experience with labcorp tech - rude, unfriendly, refused to ask my NP to order fasting blood sugar even tho I told her I was fasting and would like it done - short walk to ask, she refused and wasn't nice about it

I can't say enough good things about Melissa Zeliznik, my FNP at Carroll Health. She is personable, professional, and willing to take the time to explain any health issues. She even drew a picture of an issue that I have with my heart so I could clearly understand. I have referred family members and friends to Melissa. She represents Carroll Health extremely well.
