About Mohit Neeru Gilotra

Professional Statement

Dr. Gilotra specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Memorial College in 2007 and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Maryland and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He pursued an additional year of advanced fellowship training in the management of complex shoulder and elbow injuries at the University of Pennsylvania and then obtained further training in elbow arthroscopy and minimally invasive approaches to the elbow at Tulane University in New Orleans.

Dr. Gilotra's research interests include novel treatments for rotator cuff repair, preventing implant-related infection, and reverse shoulder arthroplasty design. Additional special interests include: Acromioclavicular joint injuries, biceps tear, clavicle injuries, community trauma (involving ankle, knee, hip, and arm fractures), elbow arthroscopy, elbow replacement, fractures around the shoulder and elbow, labral repair, posttraumatic reconstruction, reverse shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, shoulder arthritis, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder dislocation, shoulder replacement, throwing injuries to the shoulder and elbow, Tommy John reconstruction.
