Professional Statement

Nauroz Syed, M.D., M.H.S., has joined the staff of Woodholme Gastroenterology Associates, a LifeBridge Health partner, in its Westminster office and serves patients at Carroll and Northwest hospitals. Her practice encompasses the comprehensive management of gastrointestinal diseases, with a subspecialty interest in pancreaticobiliary diseases. In addition to performing general GI procedures, she also performs ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound.

Dr. Syed recently completed an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the same institution, after fulfilling the requirements of her internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Previously, Dr. Syed served as an instructor in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Division of Hospital Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, as well as an assistant instructor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and hepatology, and has participated in a variety of gastrointestinal research projects.
