Overall, Paul Gurbel comes highly recommended by a friend of mine who used to work with him. Sometimes I find that he dismisses, he's a little dismissive of me and I have to kind of like keep pushing him to get an answer, I mean like a different answer or maybe something that we can discuss. I know he's a smart guy, obviously, but I just, you know, I would tell people if you're a woman, you got to keep pushing him. That's just my personal opinion. His office staff is always great, although I was in there the other day and I finally had to get up and say, okay, like, where are my discharge papers after about 45 minutes because people kept going out before me and I was a little disturbed by that.

I was taken in before my scheduled time, processed efficiently. Seen by the doctor before my time. The whole visit, from in to out, took about 30 minutes. Yes, it was a follow-up visit.

Always thorough and professional

An issue arose during the examination and Dr. Gurbel arranged for an echo gram there at the site immediately following the examination.. This was particularly convenient as I drive to 3+ hours to Baltimore! Dr. Gurbel has been kind and thorough through every. 6 month follow-up. I couldn't wish for better. It's rare that any office staff stays with a provider as long as this staff has been with Dr. Gurbel. Especially the office manager. Janine runs a flawless office. Faith, Marcia and Nina are a dream team. I almost always see Edwin as a medical assistant, who is fantastic. No one in this office however, is quite as fabulous as the physician himself. Paul Gurbel is the unicorn of providers. Always prepared, reviews and takes a history like no one else. I refer to him to everyone. He is top tier on my team of doctors, and it's truly a privilege to be his patient.

In addition to my primary care doctor, I see several different specialists. Dr. Paul Gurbel is by far the best DOCTOR that I see!

My appointment was 1:00PM. I was not seen by Dr. Gurbel until 2:30 PM. I declined to be seen by his resident. My appointment was with Dr. Gurbel not the resident. The man who took my blood pressure and confirmed my medication at 1:00 PM told me that Dr. Gurbel had to eat lunch. I did not leave the office until 2:45PM.

Felt the doctor was very thorough in my exam and had my health interest paramount. Doctor was excellent.

Dr. Gurbel is very knowledgeable and does everything in his power to keep connected with my other doctor when determining the best treatment for high blood pressure and for pulmonary hypertension. He requests tests he feel are needed and checks about medications with my pulmonologist. Extremely pleased

Doctor Gurbel and his staff were beyond excellent!!!

I thought the examination was very thorough. I saw three different people and at the end, Dr. Gurbel came in and took the time to go over things thoroughly with me along with the second person that took a lot of information down. They both were in the room there. So all in total, I think they spent probably a little over a half hour with me, actually face-to-face time. Most doctors won't do that and I really appreciate that.
