Sara Alysse Mills, MD

Sara Mills, MD is very excited to join the Crossroads family. She is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. She cares for individuals and families in all stages of life and has done so for the last 15 years. Her focus is on preventative care, chronic disease management, integrative health and lifestyle medicine.  

Dr. Mills earned her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. Her residency training in comprehensive Family Medicine was completed at WellSpan- York Hospital in Pennsylvania. She recently completed a Certification in Integrative Health and wellness with the University of Maryland Graduate Program. Dr. Mills plans to be a lifelong student.  

As a Maryland native, Dr. Mills is excited to build new patient relationships within her community. She has learned that the best way to provide comprehensive health care is with listening, compassion and personalized health care plans that are constructed together. with the patient. It is her preference to educate her patients so they can make a knowledgeable decision about their health.  

Dr. Mills is very enthusiastic about preventative medicine and lifestyle medicine. Your body must last you a lifetime, so it is important to take very good care of it. Her personal interests are spending time with family, being a mother to her two boys, reading, Amazon shopping, yoga and exploring wellness.
