Scott Krugman, MD

With more than 25 years of experience as a board-certified pediatrician, Scott Krugman, MD, MS, FAAP, provides compassionate, patient-centered care for children from infancy through adolescence. A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School with residency training at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Dr. Krugman is skilled in managing routine and chronic pediatric health needs. He has a special passion for working with Spanish-speaking families, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality care. Known for his commitment to building lasting relationships with his patients, Dr. Krugman creates a welcoming environment where each child and family feel supported. 

Dr. Krugman is a board-certified child abuse pediatrician who chairs the Baltimore County Child Fatality Review Team and serves on the Baltimore County Child Protection Review Panel. He has contributed to statewide child abuse committees and is a faculty member of the Maryland Child Abuse Medical Professionals. A past president of the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he served on the National Council on Community Pediatrics from 2014 to 2019. He was an associate editor for Hospital Pediatrics from 2011 to 2017 and now serves on the editorial board for Pediatrics. Dr. Krugman has received numerous awards, including the Health Care Delivery Award from the Academic Pediatric Association, the Pediatrician of the Year Award from the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and multiple teaching awards from residency programs.

While Dr. Krugman also holds leadership roles at the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital, he is available to see patients at LifeBridge Health’s Loch Raven site one day each week, where he remains closely involved in providing consistent, quality care.
