Sheila Woodhouse MD MSc MBA is board-certified cardiologist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and physician scientist executive with expertise in cardiovascular disease, preventive cardiology, women’s cardiovascular health, telecardiology, and multimodality cardiac imaging. She has held leadership roles across health systems at the University of Maryland Medical System and Emory, as well as a large private practice group, clinical research, biopharma, and digital health & AI healthcare companies while practicing full time until 2022, when she shifted to part time clinical work as she focuses on integrating clinical care, research, and innovation to improve outcomes.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Woodhouse has led initiatives in cardiovascular service line development including cardio-ob and cardio-oncology programs, clinical research, digital health and AI integration, and quality and outcomes based care models. Her work emphasizes aligning clinical delivery with compassion, evidence based care while contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular services through innovation, research, and continuous improvement in quality and clinical performance grounded in fit for purpose imaging, data, AI & Innovation, and system level strategy to enhance patient care and long term value.
