Stephen Greenspan, MD

Okay, Dr. Greenspan is a very good, caring doctor. He takes care of my needs like no other doctor has. He treats me with respect and he knows my condition that I have very well. I have several of them and he understands how everything works together. I'm just, you know, he's probably the best doctor that I've found lately in my life. So I would rate him very highly. That's why I've stayed with him for so long. I got him during COVID and he's kind of far away, but it's worth it because it's hard to find a good doctor these days. Dr. Greenspan, Stephen Greenspan.

Wish Dr. Greenspan could offer earlier appointment times , 8 830 used to be the norm now 9 930 Especially when fasting for blood work.

I just wish the appointment started at the appointed time. I waited for 45 mins after my scheduled appointment to see the provider. It threw my whole day appointment.

Dr. Greenspan really listens and try's to help to the best of his ability. His nurse Stephanie is very positive and helpful!! And the receptionist was very friendly and helpful She even pushed my husband to the vehicle to my son while I used the bathroom. Was a lively helpful dignified visit!

Great dr. Always makes sure he dots all the I'd and crosses all the t's meaning makes sure I am feeling ok and check med doses and makes sure I'm not allergic to new prescriptions when aplicable

Doctor and staff should proof read the information they give in visit summaries. Example in printed summary given me: the 2nd item under "Your diagnosis" said: "superficial chemical burn of left upper arm." The burn was actually on the hand and wrist (i.e. lower arm), not "upper" arm.

Waited to long in room for doctor maybe he was busy with something else waited 20 minutes

Dr. Greenspan and his assistant Stephanie were both thorough, professional and very kind. I never felt rushed or not listened to. It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this team.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Greenspan, so he spent a great deal of time discussing my health issues and medications very thoroughly. He made some recommendations and asked if I wanted a flu shot. He actively listened to me. I felt very comfortable with him as my new primary care physician.

Doesn't seem that knowledgeable. Definitely doesn't seem to care. Isn't proactive.

The lady that took my EKG and blood pressure before the doctor came in was GREAT. Very nice and knowledgeable. Dr.Greenspan was nice and told me work orders that I need to get done. Overall good experience.

This doctor is new to me since my previous provider is no longer with the practice. He prescribed a new medication for me that I am not able to get from any pharmacy as the medication is new and not on the market. I messaged the doctor on the website on 2 occasions to let him know of this issue after may appointment with him . I received no response from him or his staff to my messages. I tried to talk with office staff in person but they told me they were too busy and could not talk to me. I talked to the office manager yesterday and she indicated she would get back to me. She indicated the doctor has been very busy?? There is an easy solution to this issue that requires him to only send in a new prescription for a different medicine. I haven't heard from the office manager yet. It has been almost 2 weeks since I met with this doctor and I have not received the medication that he prescribed despite reaching out 4 times. He has not followed through on ordering a new prescription for me since the original medication is not available. This is unacceptable.

I love my new doctor, he is very patient and take his time to listen to me and is not trying to rush me out , i got the rest of my family members to start going to him and will recommend him to my clients, please treat him well so don't want to leave your practice.

Do not like at all having to talk with the off site call center to make an appointment or to give a message to my doctor. Highly prefer to make my appointment over the phone with the on site staff who know me. The staff off site are not very personable and are not very helpful. I am on hold for a long time as well.

When I first tried to make a appointment I told the person that I wanted blood work and she scheduled me after the time that they leave ( I had fasted all day) I wasn't happy about that but every thing from the receptionist up front to all the staff in the back are all very pleasant

Appt time was 4:20pm. Started on time but had to wait 30 minutes for doctor to finally come in. No apology for being late. I have to wait 30 minutes again I will find another doctor.

The question regarding being "treated as a unique individual" is vague and needs clarification. What is that even supposed to mean?

Getting appointments is hard communication is very poor, pt. Have to wait some time hours to get some one to talk on line

I had seen Dr Mc Clain for 30 years, so there was some trepidation about seeing a new provider. Dr Greenspan seemed very knowledgeable about my medical history. I appreciate the amount of time he spent going over my history. This was a pre-surgical appointment and he was very thorough in all aspects of our visit

Video conference, so staff helped me make the appointment, but everything else was online. The appointment itself started 40 mins late. I logged off and back on thinking my connection was bad.

Nothing everything was okay.

It was my first time to see Doctor Greenspan Stephen and he was very nice he asked me so many questions that pattern to my health and gave me oprions.

The new way that calls are being handled is no where near what it was before. People seem to be answering the phone that can't answer any questions that before could be answered. This has been very frustrating. So much so my family and I will be looking into another doctors office that still answers their own phones. Health care is very time consuming and expensive to be dealing with third party call centers.

Dr. Greenspan is an excellent physician who goes beyond and above to provide care for my complex multiple conditions. He has always been fully committed and accommodating to my physical disability.

My experience was positive and met my needs.

I had a prior appointment and was not seen by the doctor after about an hour had passed from my appointment time. I had to leave and reschedule a month later. However, I was charged for the original appointment so am waiting to make sure that I am only charged once. If I had figured out that they are not even in my network, I never would've gone there.

When he's present on my case the care is good.

To go through the call center was a nightmare. The old system of calling directly to my provider center was much much better.

Very good visit for a first time, both the Doctor and I seemed to have a good understanding of why I was there and what needed to be done for my annual checkup and lab work, I hope the good Doctor is there for a long time. Thank you all.

Dr Greenspan was very nice, he listened well and he gave me good advice. I will ask for him again.

It said arrive 15 minutes early, I was there 30 minutes early and waited almost 2 hours to see Greenspan. People leaving were saying he feel asleep during their appointment. Never again will I go to this doctor.

He did not give me a referral for my mammogram. He did not discuss my diabetes. The appt seemed to be more for him and not me.

I'll be making another appointment with the new doctor. Wasn't a good visit. I received referrals for issues I don't have.

I opened my mailed letter today stating that Dr Greenspan is moving to a Laurel, Md office and that the Frederick office will be closing this month. I have enjoyed being a patient of Dr Greenspan over the years. Sorry to hear this office is closing and wish everyone continued success in new locations. It may be too far for me to go to that location and I will probably have to change to another office. Dr Greenspan was always kind to me and ran usually on time too.
