My experience was a positive one. I was seen in a timely manner by the provider's assistance who did the preliminary exam. When I saw the provider, he reviewed all of my information, did a thorough exam of my eyes and explained his findings. He explained how he thought this issue should be handled and scheduled a follow-up appointment. He spent sufficient time with me, and I never felt like I was being rushed through the visit.

Pleasant staff, easy to work through scheduling and paperwork, thorough diagnosis, excellent explanations, prompt attention for a condition needing quick response. Doctor was very easy to communicate with and very pleasant. Strongly recommend.

The appointments never start on time. The wait time in the waiting room and exam rooms is too long. Moving to multiple exam rooms and the waiting room is difficult being disabled. Dr. Pappas explains everything well when you finally get to see him but the scheduling needs to be improved.

Dr. Pappas is an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent physician who I am extremely grateful to have seen. I don't think another ophthalmologist would have been likely to have identified what my issue was, and I am extremely thankful.

My first time experience there, and I was very pleased with the receptionist to the doctor that was assisting me, and let me look through the charts and everything until Dr. Stephen got in. Everybody was very nice, and seemed like they were really interested in what was going on with me, and that was really good. I give them all a 10. Thank you very much. Bye-bye.

He's an excellent physician , and I understand the wait time I always experience , and this appointment the wait time was much better.

Dr. Pappas explained that the long wait time was due to technical problems with his tablet. There were about 7 people in the waiting room at one point. My appointment took about 2 hours, much longer than usual.

Dr. Pappas and the entire team were friendly with great customer service! Denis, who was new since my last visit, showed great patience with me during my eye exam!

I really like the way Dr. Pappas and his staff treat me as a patient and as a person. He was running late this time when I visited him, but he apologized and also said he had an emergency, which I thought was, I like that he explained that and that also he took the time to see someone who needed to see him immediately. That rates very high in my book.

Dr. Pappas is the best. I thank God every day for giving him the knowledge to be the best in eye care. I followed him to Baltimore because I didn't want to start with someone else. He takes time to listen to his patients.

Dr Pappas is wonderful. Only issue was there is a long wait for him to come in after all my photos etc were done (40 min)

The front desk receptionists were cordial. I always enjoy smiles and a warm greeting when I walk into a medical office. I did not receive that here.

This was my initial visit, so Dr Pappas wouldn't know my retina history. He asked excellent questions to seek understanding and insight of my experiences including why I am changing doctors. I'm extremely satisfied with his patient care and thorough explanation of my condition. He printed materials, suggested for scheduling and repeated that I contact the office if my vision changes immediately! This was the best experience from my initial contact. The wait to get an appointment was worth it!

I really felt cared for

Well, I can't rate how you did, but Dr. Pappas and I had a discussion about his timeliness and his consideration to his patients. I have to wait entirely too long. I expressed that to him. He indicated he was helping other doctors, but I told him he needs to be considerate of his own patients first, except that it's an emergency. And that's about all I have to say about that. That's it.

Dr. Pappas was professional, courteous and very thorough with his exam. One tech didn't seem to listen well & other techs could have sign improved communications during the photos/scans taken re positioning and what to expect. Very concerning is that this was the 3rd visit in almost 3 months at Krieger eye institute when the scans were not able to be uploaded for the doctor.

I called that morning around 10 AM and had an appointment the same day at 3:30. This was a new doctor and I have never seen before. They did an extensive I exam. Once they went over all of my tests that I was given, they determined that things look very well with my eye, and then I was probably having some sort of migraine that was affecting my eye. I am very happy with my.

Provider was very thorough in his examimation on my condition and on prior test results in his office.

My appointment was at 10:00. I waited until 12:20 to be seen.

Dr Pappas is always professional but easy to talk to if you have questions ..He is very helpful and caring.

What a very nice office staff, especially James, who is an exceptional, people person. Meant Dr. Pappas for the first time and absolutely loved his chair manner. Was patient, kind, and thorough!! My experience was a very pleasant one at the Quarry Lake Office.

It was 2 hours after my appointment time when my provider walked into the exam room. I did get an appointment the next day after the staff called me: they fit me in, which was great but may have contributed to the lateness of the provider.

Staff sees me at my scheduled time but I have to wait for the doctor for 45 minutes after the staff sees me. The doctor is very attentive and helpful when I see him.

Waiting for my name to be called. Two hours in the office Waiting area was too long. Will book my appointments as early as possible in the future.

The wait time in this office is extreme. My appointment was at 3:30 and I didn't leave until close to 5:30pm. Apparently, overtime is not allowed and I had to call the next morning for my follow up appointment.

I found it difficult to be tested as the woman conducting the eye tests assumed that I knew what her cryptic orders meant when I did not. I am old but not feeble. When my face is already pressed against the equipment, repeatedly telling me to "lean forward" makes no sense. She finally shouted after several minutes of my struggling that I needed to move my chair. She, apparently, assumed until then that I could read her mind so as to understand what she wanted me to do. When I tried to explain my exasperation to the intern doing a preliminary examination, she acted as if she wished to disappear. Apparently, they do not teach medical students how to deal with unhappy patients in med school, which is unfortunate because all one needs to do is to use common sense and pretend that you have just experienced what the patient did. How would you feel? It is my belief that it is a common problem in medical offices that the staff apparently believe that the physician they work for is a world class doctor and entitled to enormous deference, this somehow transfers to staff and everything they say or do. Believe me that it does not transfer to them.

My appointment was for 2:30 but to come 15 minutes earlier which I did. I did not see the doctor unti. 3 hours later. Was told 4 new patients, including me, and some technicians weren't there. Scheduling seems to be a big issue. I left without making a follow up appointment!

Dr. Pappas was wonderful as well as Dr. Solomon she is amazing. I am very grateful for both.

My appointment was at 2:30 and the visit was not completed until nearly 5:30. It took over 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor from my appointment time. Although the diagnostic portions of the visit were efficient and moved quickly.

The 2.5 hr wait was unbearable and not acceptable.

Ver pleased with service and Dr. I was seeing for the first time.

Only issue I had is the online pre-appointment check-in. I can never (and I mean NEVER) get past the authentication screen. Either it doesn't acknowledge my phone number on file or I never recieve an authentication code (using both the text and voice options.) I try to complete it everytime I have an appointment to save the office staff time, but it never works. Someone should look into it.

. Was there for nearly 3 hours. That is a along time. However i was treated very well bu t they could not give me a follow up appointment (3months) because the scheduling system was not working.

The doctor was running 45 minutes late because of a meeting. It would have been nice to have been notified of this so I could have stayed home and not leave for my appointment until later. I really hate sitting in the waiting room and exam room for 2 hours before seeing the doctor.

When I arrived for my previously scheduled appointment, it was discovered that the appointment staff had mistakenly put down my appointment for the wrong year (!) But when this was found out, I was allowed to stay and have my appointment anyway, for which I was very appreciative.

The wait time to see the doctor was too long. I don't know why I was seen by two doctors but this prolonged the visit unnecessarily.

The doctor saw me one hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled time. I had an appointment with another provider in the office scheduled for a later date and they cancelled it without having someone else available for me to see.
