I am a regular patient. It was my routine 6 month visit everything went well in timely manner in a very professional manner I got all the needed paper work for my blood work and referral for other doctors s visit and next visit date and time.

He seems to know my condition

Very concietious in reviewing meds.

The only thing I can say is that I would appreciate less waiting time to be seen. That is the reason for making an appointment. Dr. Berger is so kind and caring and busy. He always gives his patients the time they need and this sometimes runs into the next patient' time.

This Dr continues to be one of the most astute, capable, and knowledgeable medical people I have ever dealt with!

I answered accurately because I was seen 35 minutes late. It would have been nice if someone had explained that Dr Berger was running late due to being short staffed that day. I only learned that was the case when he called me back to see me. That said, I will say that he took as much time with me as was needed and I didn't at all feel rushed. I appreciated that. He's also a wonderful doctor and terrifically caring human!!

The time between being called back to be seen and usually seeing the provider was extensive ( 20-25 minutes).

Dr. Berger and staff were great as always.

Love seeing Dr. Berger (when he is available). Being a great doctor he is very busy and sometimes it is hard to get an appt with him in a timely manner(unless he has a cancellation) Also love his receptionist and other staff.

This pertains to a medication that was approved by my insurance and I was taking it as prescribed until the 6 month prior auth was sent to the PCP office. The NP provider continues to inadequately fill out a prior authorization. Both the NP and the MD were asked specific information and they are only checking boxes rather than adding the supporting documentation that the insurance is asking for, therefore I continue to be denied. This medication has helped me tremendously. The NP did the first 2 prior authorizations and the MD only forwarded the last information that the NP did incorrectly back to the insurance. My insurance called me after the 2nd denial and was told that the NP said she isn't going to fill out these prior auths and was just going to refer to weight loss clinics. I am on the medication for 3 reasons, not just weight loss. When I went to the PCP and saw the MD recently I asked why a NP would tell the insurance that instead of doing the prior auths she is just going to send everyone to a 'weight loss clinic'. My cardiologist and my rheumatologist both want me to continue on this medication and the NP and MD at my office don't seem to be taking my health issues seriously. I just received my 3rd denial letter that states that the MD is not sending supporting documentations. When I addressed this with the doctor he said they only have a small staff and can't get all these prior authorizations done and that the NP did nothing wrong by refusing to complete the prior auth and is following office protocol. This is concerning. If the issue isn't corrected and my medication is not restarted due to incomplete information sent to the insurance I will be leaving LBH and going to GBMC for a PCP.

Yesterday's appointment for my physical began about seven minutes prior to the assigned time. Sandy, the assistant took the necessary assessments (weight, blood pressure, etc.) prior to the doctor's entrance. Dr. Berger is comfortable to speak with and he explains all things precisely.

I have been seeing Dr. Berger since 2011/2012, and have always been treated with respect and courteousy. The entire staff are all professional also. Dr. Berger (and staff) are up to date and knowledgeable about my health & concerns. He is the correct physician for me.

The best doctor

My comment is the doctor started out being an outstanding doctor, but over the years he became very neglectful, taking in too many patients, not enough time for his patients, and not providing adequate information to improve the patient's health conditions, and then not having enough time to meet with his patients at a timely fashion and provide back feedback from each visit from the patient. I mean, provide feedback from the blood work and all of that to the patients immediately after the visit. Became very disappointing in his relationship with his patients. Thank you.

If you are going to turn people away if they are late. You should be seen exactly the time if your appointment as well. I know someone was seven minutes late and was told they had to make another appointment. I went back and had to wait in the room 8 minutes before the Dr. came into the room to start my appointment. All I am saying is. The same rules should apply on either end.

My physical exam was great. My PCP was very knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and timely. My labs were reviewed throughly, and patiently. Very caring provider.

I had a 9.00am appointment and I did not get called in the doctor's office until 9.55am then had to wait for the Dr. to come in. This happened to me a couple of times. There is not even a 5min grace period if you are late for an appointment, what's that. Your patients time is valuable too. That why we schedule appointments.

I would like to be able to get an appointment with my doctor when I have unexpected issues arise, instead of always having to see the nurse practitioner.

I have been a patient of Dr Berger for a long while now. He has always treated me with respect and kindness, and has always been very respectful, as has his assistants and other staff. He is proactive in his care of any issues l have.

Dr Berger is an excellent person and doctor however he needs help. His nurse was not there and he was trying his best to keep things moving smoothly. My appointment was 9:00, did not see him till about 10:30! Lifebridges need to address staffing. It us extremely difficult getting an appointment with Dr. Berger.
